We used Blue Moon as soon as he was available and have bred to him for five years now. His EPDs and breed indexes, both in the Angus and Simmental databases, are as good as they get. Many have questioned whether they were as good as the numbers reflected and looked good enough. From our perspective, they may not be show stoppers, but they look good and always sell good. The females we have in herd are in the pedigrees of some of our top individuals. They hold up and breed back with the best of them.
